What is the name of the book about a kid who ran away and played the piano in the great depression?
Q. In the story, the kid ran away from home with his little brother following. They jumped a train where his friend died. He eventually ended up playing piano for a traveling circus while his brother learned and played the banjo. In the end, they go back home as the great depression lifts. I read it as a kid and would like my son to read it as well because it describes how hard times were back then. I thank you in advance for your help!

Is it bad that I ran my clothing in the washer without detergent by mistake?
Q. Will that breed bacteria? Or no? I ran it through again with detergent afterwards. I am just concerned because I was washing baby clothing too.

A. I don't think this is too much of a problem unless your clothes are really stinky. Plain water can clean clothes reasonably well.

What would happen if i ran away when i have felony charges pending?
Q. I am only 17 and want to know what would happen if i ran away. Technically i don't have felony charges since im a minor, its called abjudication or something. If i ran away and they never caught me would i be able to ever go back to the state that i committed the crimes? i havent yet gotten a summons to appear in court. the D.A. is supposed to contact me within the next few days. if i leave before i have an issued court date would that make any difference?

A. When, not if but when, you got caught then you would face additional charges. You also would appear guilty to any jury that you face.
