How much would a 1988 autographed book filled with hockey star autographs be worth?
Q. I am currenly in possesion of a copy of Ken Dryden's "The Game". Inside of it, on the first page and on the inside cover, there are autographs of Wayne Gretzky, Mario Lemieux, Kevin Lowe, Mark Messier, Scotty Bowman, Larry Robinson, Dennis Potvin, Peter Stasney and Gordie Howe. On the inside cover there is a ticket to the 1988 All-Stars Practice Game. If anyone can identify the value of this book I would be indebted. Thank you very much!

A. I would say that sounds like a lot of money you got there. I can't find it on Ebay, so it must be pretty rare. If I were you, I would hang on to it another 10-15 years. It will be MUCH more valuable then. I can almost guarantee it will double in price.

Q. Hey guys. I am having trouble with my 1988 cavalier Z24. I installed a new motor and I am having trouble installing the driveline on the passenger side of the car. It is a front wheel drive and the driveline is lined up with the transmission but it just wont go in!

A. You may have to get a little violent with it to "shock load" it into place. I usually grab the outter end of the shaft (with the inner started in the trans) and use the driveshaft itself to hammer the stub into place.

What are the issues with copper plumbing in a home built in 1988?
Q. I have a friend who has a home that has copper plumbing. The residence was built in 1988, and she was told by a neighbor that copper plumbing is bad and has to be removed/replaced in order to keep the value of the home for resale. This doesn't seem to make sense and the home does not have any plumbing issues to date. The neighbor cautioned that copper plumbing can burst. A. If the copper pipe is stressed, it will create a leak, but only if stressed. By this I mean thin wall, kinks, etc. I have never heard of copper pipes devaluing a home. If anything, copper will add value compared to CPVC or galvanized. If there are no issues with leakage or significant corrosion, leave it.

A. First, tell you mechanic to expect to take a few hours to remove the turbo off a car in the junkyard. Also hope he brings something to lay down while he works from under the car. I say this because to remove the turbo from your car, the cylinder head needs to come off. That takes a few hours under the best of conditions. To answer your question. First link gives a quick idea on which turbo motor you have. Second link shows you what turbo was used on your model year car. You HAVE to use a turbo from a Chrysler turbo car. The flange that mounts the turbo to exhaust manifold is specific to only chrysler cars. Now, let me suggest your get a rebuilt turbo instead. Replacing a turbo isn't cheap. A. The Soviet-Afghanistan war did. The CIA funded a lot of groups within Afghanistant in their fight against the Soviets including extreme muslims who would later go on to create Al Qaeda. The reason people quote this war as what led to them is that they were funded and armed during this war, once this war was over they still had large amounts of money and weapons sitting idle and they put them to use fighting against those who they felt were against their religion. Desert Storm had nothing to do with Al Qaeda although it did infuriate the Muslim communities in the area that the US was taking part in Middle eastern Politics, especially after the US diplomat told Iraq that the USA had no opinion on the Iraq/Kuwait border dispute.

A. while the fitting might fit, you will have a few different problems to deal with the hoses/pipes will not line up well at all, you can try to bend them but this could cause more problems down the road also you may have to worry about if the new parts are retrofitted for r134a as opposed to r12 frion when it comes down to it, do you really need a/c in a 22 year old car?
